1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use our Services. You must be at least 18 years old to use our Services.

2. Description of Services

i18.dev provides an AI-powered localization and translation management platform for software developers and product teams. Our Services include tools for string extraction, translation management, team collaboration, API access, CLI integration, and related features. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Services at any time.

3. Account Registration

To access certain features, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate, complete, and current information during registration and to keep your account information updated. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

Certain features of our Services require a paid subscription. All payments are processed through our third-party payment processor, Stripe. By subscribing, you agree to pay all applicable fees and taxes. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date.

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting us. Cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not provide refunds for partial billing periods except where required by law.

We reserve the right to change our pricing upon reasonable notice. Any price changes will take effect at the start of your next billing period.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use our Services to:

• Violate any applicable law, regulation, or third-party right
• Upload, transmit, or distribute any malicious code, viruses, or harmful content
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts
• Use automated scripts, bots, or scrapers to access our Services
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of our software
• Interfere with the security, integrity, or performance of our Services
• Use our Services to compete with us without our prior written consent

6. Intellectual Property

All content, software, designs, trademarks, and other materials provided by us in connection with the Services are owned by or licensed to BUILDINHK LTD and are protected by intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Services for their intended purpose. We reserve all rights not expressly granted to you.

You retain all ownership rights in the content you upload or create using our Services ("User Content"). By submitting User Content, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free license to use, store, and process your User Content solely for the purpose of providing and improving our Services.

7. AI-Generated Outputs

Our Services use artificial intelligence to generate outputs such as extracted strings, translation keys, and translated text. While we strive for accuracy, we do not guarantee that AI-generated outputs will be error-free, complete, or suitable for your specific use case. You are solely responsible for reviewing and verifying any AI-generated content before using it in production.

8. Confidentiality and Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of any API keys, personal access tokens, or other credentials associated with your account. You agree to use reasonable security measures to protect your account and any data you process through our Services.

9. Third-Party Services

Our Services may integrate with or contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or terms of use of any third-party services. Your use of third-party services is at your own risk and subject to their respective terms.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Services will immediately cease. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, and limitations of liability.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.

12. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL BUILDINHK LTD, ITS DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services shall not exceed the amount you paid to us for the Services in the three (1) months preceding the event giving rise to liability, or one hundred Hong Kong dollars (HKD 100), whichever is greater.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless BUILDINHK LTD and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in any way connected with your access to or use of the Services, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any intellectual property or other right of any person.

14. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Hong Kong.

15. General Provisions

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Services. If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.
